NEW: 24 Oct 05: The Teams
Format:
The AussieNick Winter League program will have four junior teams playing at Bethesda Sport & Health. These teams are comprised of seven players each. Each week the captain will be responsible for organizing 5 players for a Sunday match. (All players must get a fair chance to play an equal number of matches) Players must play in order of merit.
Player Registration Deadline:
Deadline for registration: Winter League 1: October 14 (Runs Oct. 30 – Dec 18)
Winter League 2: January 5 (Runs Jan. 8 –Feb. 26).
Trial date for team placement: Sunday October 16
Note: Players will be ranked based on past performance and match performance on this date and the #1 player will play in the 1 position on the first team, the #2 player playing in the 1 position in the second team, and so on. Teams will then choose their team name.
Participants: Age: 10 – 18 yrs of age.
Cost: $100 per league (includes t-shirt, trophies, court time, coaches/supervisors, and administration of league)
Umpiring: Participants gain knowledge and confidence from umpiring games and should mark/umpire the next match. Advise a senior team member or a coach/supervisor if you need assistance.
Schedule: League will be comprised of 4 teams (names TBD) and be assigned a color (e.g. G, B, R and W). Check your team color at www.aussienicksquash.com/junior
Match Schedule: Sundays 2 – 5pm at Bethesda Sport and Health

Payment Information:
Full Payment must be made at time of Registration. Please make check payable to Sport & Health.
Withdrawal Policy:
Withdrawal prior to a week from league commencement: full credit less 20% fee.
Withdrawal within a week from league commencement or afterwards: no credit.
Your Coordinator: AussieNick founder Connie Barnes played at State grade level in Australia for 15 years before arriving in the US in 2002.
